District monitoring team Phek led by chief medical officer (CMO) Dr. Khriezotuo Paphino visited seven health units on September 29, to supervise various health programme activities and conduct advocacy programme on Covid vaccination with various leaders.
In a press release, district media officer informed that the first team was led by Dr. Khriezotuo Paphino and DTO Dr. Ruokuohelie Rutsa with three other programme managers.
The team monitored SC Phugi, PHC Yoruba, CHC Chozuba & SC Chozuba.
Meanwhile, the second team led by Dr. Kolhitso Khalo with Dr. Ngopelo and four other programme managers supervised SC Middle Khomi, SC Losami & SC Phek Basa.
The team conducted an advocacy programme and interacted with Church Leaders, VCCs, GBs, teachers, youth bodies, women leaders, etc., on Covid vaccination.
Earlier during the programme, misconceptions, misinformation, rumours and doubts on COVID-19 vaccination were clarified and addressed.
