Phezoucha Nagamese Baptist Church celebrated its 10th anniversary on February 26 at the church premises. Speaking on the occasion, general secretary NBCC, Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho stressed on the church to nurture the growth of youth and the upcoming generation by referring from the book of Proverbs 1:7, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Knowledge” which would enable them to know the love of God and the church to survive in the days to come.
The church is a constituent of Nagamese Baptist Churches Association which is affiliated to Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) and the first church established in New Secretariat area, Kohima. The church members consist of people from different tribes of the state and from the neibouring states who are settled in the secretariat area.
