Phokhungri area NPF party workers consultative meet

NPF party workers of Phokhungri area under Meluri sub-division of Phek district consultative meeting was held on May 27, at Shilloi Lake resort under the chairmanship of central NPF youth wing, secretary, Rüzhüse Perry.
Party leaders, including village leaders from 10 villages of the area attended the meeting.
Speakers of the meeting were NPF, 20 Meluri Assembly Constituency, president T. Kamsang, Pochury Hoho former president  Penthu Pochury, and NPF central office, general secretary S. Akho Leyri.
During the meeting, T. Kamsang in his short speech shared his experience working with the party as president for 49 years and 23 years. He called upon the party workers to sincerely work for the success of the party and in unity for betterment of the people.
Penthu Pochury, in his speech narrated the circumstances leading to the joining of the independent group to the NPF in the last general election. He called upon the party workers to bury their differences and work in unity for the NPF party for another success in the forthcoming general election. S. Akho Leyri, informed the NPF party men and women that there was no hidden agenda while joining the NPF except that the NPF candidate shall render his service to the people with equal treatment to all. He appealed to the party people not to be misled by rumours instead bury the dangerous suspicious feelings and work sincerely for the people.
Meanwhile, house resolved to extend support to the leadership of Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, chief minister of Nagaland who is also the president of the Naga People’s Front.
