Members of Phom Community residing in Dimapur and Kohima celebrated the 71st Phom Day also known as Peace day on June 6.
Dimapur Phom Union (DPU) celebrated the day at Dimapur Phom Baptist Attoi.
The programme with an invocation by pastor EDPBA, Bauloi and special prayer by pastor SPBA, Rev. B. Mane Noklang.
The significance of Phom day was shared by Longtok Phom Rtd GM, Industry and Word of God was shared by Missionary at Large, Rev. L. Among Phom. Phom Union Kohima (PUK) observed the day at Kohima Phom Baptist Church, where former parliamentary secretary, P. Dako Phom delivered the keynote address and prayer of blessing by pastor, KPBC.
On the occasion, PUK also felicitated Lungshen C Ailly, who secured Top 18 in HSLC examination 2023 from Don Bosco HSS, Kohima with a certificate and cash prize.
