Photography Club Zunheboto (PCZ) celebrated World Photography Day by honoring the pioneers of photographers and videographers of the Zunheboto district. Among the pioneers honoured on the occasion were Vetoshe Achumi, former Proprietor Patkai studio, Shitokhu Kiho and Hukiye Zhimomi. Delivering his presidential address, PCZ president Hokato Yepthomi spoke on the power of the picture, how it opens a view of a person’s mind and allows them to convey messages. With the advancement of technology and fast-growing gadgets on the rise, the president urged the PCZ member to also advance along with their creativity and skills in the art of photography.
Short speeches were delivered by the pioneers who dwelled on their perspective of photography and videography and their struggles and achievements during the past and how advancements in technologies have turned the tides. The pioneers encouraged the younger generation to keep up the vibe and enthusiasm derived through the profession of photography.
