Photography contest announced for Wildlife Week 2025

As part of Wildlife Week 2025 celebrations, the Department of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Nagaland, in collaboration with Kohima Forest Division, has announced an open photography competition on the theme “Human-Animal Coexistence.”
The contest is open to all age groups and invites original, unedited photographs that reflect the theme. Each participant may submit up to three entries. Hard copies (landscape or portrait) must be submitted to the Office of the Kohima Forest Division, Forest Office Complex, Jail Colony, Kohima, while raw files should be emailed to djkohimaphotocontest@gmail.com along with the participant’s name and contact details.
Prizes include: 1st Prize: Rs. 4000 + Certificate; 2nd Prize: Rs. 3000 + Certificate; 3rd Prize: Rs. 2000 + Certificate and Best Raw Photograph: Rs. 1000 + Certificate
Last date for submission: October 6, 2025 and the result will be declared on October 8, 2025.
