Photography exhibition ‘Home’ underway in Kohima

The second edition of the photography exhibition “Home” commenced on December 5 at box cutting footpath, War Cemetery, Kohima.
Department of Information and Public Relation (DIPR) deputy director, Siewatho Nyusuo inaugurated the exhibition. In his speech, Nyusuo appreciated the exhibition saying that it was a pleasant occasion to depict something good about the people’s way of life, tradition, and cultures.
He added that unlike previous times, today photography has become a part of life with the accessibility of smart-phones.
He stated that the quality of professional photography could not be compared.
Nyusuo encouraged the gathering to create good memories everyday for the beautiful tomorrow.
Zhazo Miachieo one of the organisers of the exhibition in his introductory speech highlighted that in 2019, four photographers, Seyie Suohu, Rajin Limbu, Albert Rutsa, and ZhazoMiachieo came together for their love for photography and started an exhibition where they could showcase their take and perspective the world, the environment surrounding it and let the viewers have a glimpse of it.
The exhibition would be a 5-day event, from December 5-10.
