Training on RTI ACT 2005 for public Information Officer (PIO) and Assistant Public Information Officer (APIO) was held at Deputy Commissioner office Longleng on August 11 and 12 for Government officers, NGO’s and Educational Institution.
Inaugural programme was graced by DC Longleng, Y.Denngan Avennoho Phom NCS.
He expressed gratitude to the trainers for positively responding in attending the training. He also highlighted that RTI has become an important tool in governance, and therefore, urged every officers to be will equipped with the RTI Act.
He further urged the trainers to not only get trained but deliver information as and when required.
The program was co-ordinated by Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) HQ, Japheth Woch and the master trainers were- assistant professors Yingli college, Lanunochet Pongen, Thsingvi Tsangtam and Konchem.
