Putu Long Foundation (PLF), Dimapur in collaboration with Northeast Medical Research Institute (NMRI) organised a one day seminar on “Nutrition and Infectious Diseases” on September 30. At the seminar, chairman Putu Long Foundation, Moala Longchar shared about the purpose in organizing the seminar.
Dr. Tia Longkumer, MBBS, MDS (Microbiology) highlighted about the importance of first aid and Dr. Imnasanen Jamir, Dental Surgeon spoke about oral health and harmful effects of using tobacco products. The seminar was also based on demonstration and prevention of HIV and AIDS and importance of nutrition on human health.
