DIMAPUR, JUL 13 (NPN): The Police Baptist Church Mon (PBCM) Youth Ministry organized the 3rd edition of the Open Penalty Shootout under the theme “Press on towards the goal” (Philippians 3:14), marking a significant milestone in its mission to foster unity, sportsmanship and faith among the youth.
The event was graced by the presence of pastor Dil, a revered leader of PBCM, while Gabriel’s melodious performance set a memorable tone for the day. A total of 28 teams participated, showcasing their skills and competitive spirit.
The first prize was sponsored by Nahpoh, Kossam, Pulei, Manom, Ngeangjong and Chingmei, awarded to Team 90’s A, who emerged as champions.
The second prize was sponsored by Manli and Tahkhen, presented to Wangnao Store, the runners-up.
For the semi-finalists were sponsored by Chingo and Er. M Manwang, recognizing Naga Jersey Hub and Shamnyu Ward.
Best Goalkeeper was sponsored by Tahkhen, awarded to Akhong of Wangnao Store for his outstanding performance.
The PBCM Youth Ministry extended heartfelt thanks to all sponsors, participants and spectators for their support in making the 3rd edition of the Open Penalty Shootout a resounding success.
