Police fraternity receive HIV test

Under the ICTC project, the Kekhrie Foundation conducted an integrated counseling and free HIV test for the police fraternity. The three day programme started on Monday morning at the North Police Station.
Director of Kekhrie Foundation, Bazo Kire, commented that 10% of HIV patients under their care were from the police fraternity. Stressing on the necessity of prevention of the disease, Kire said that it was an occupational hazard.
North Police Station OC, Neivolie Chadi pointed out on the high chances of HIV infection amongst the police. He thanked the Kekhrie Foundation for initiating the HIV test.
The integrated counseling and free HIV test will be conducted at South Police Station and New Reserve on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.
