With an aim to make Pfutsero town safer and peaceful, office of the Superintendent of Police (SP) Phek, DEF Phek in collaboration with Pfutsero Town Traders’ Union (PTTU) installed CCTV cameras at two main traffic points at Pfutsero Town.
A press release by PTTU said that the CCTV cameras were installed to ensure the standard level of security of the people and also with an aim to make Pfutsero the “safest and most peaceful town” in the state.
It said the CCTV cameras would help the law enforcement agencies obtain vital clues, to maintain law and order in the town.
According to Pfutsero Town Traders’ Union, SDPO Pfutsero stated that this initiative will set a good example for the other districts to follow.
