A consultative meeting was held between the district police and Sangtam Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) of Kiphire district at SP office, Kiphire on February 1.
Alongwith SP Kiphire, K Swarnambika and Addl.SP Lanu Aier Kiphire, the meeting was attended by the office bearers of the USLP, the AST and the USSC.
SP Kiphire welcomed all the members of the civil societies and urged them to extend their cooperation to the police department in ensuring a peaceful environment in the district.
The members of the civil societies also expressed gratitude to SP Kiphire for arranging the meeting and assured to extend their full cooperation in all the endeavours. They expressed the hope that the police department will live upto the expectations of the people of Kiphire.
