Confirming the presence of swine flu in Tening town, ADC Tening, T. Lemlila Sangtam has banned butchering, purchasing, and selling of pork meat in the vicinity of Tening Town with immediate effect.
ADC in an order informed, on-the-spot penalty of Rs. 10,000 along with the potential cancellation of trade licenses to those failing to comply with the order. The directive will be effective from August 28, 2023, until further notice, ADC said.
