Post-poll violence reported at Longkhum village

Post-poll related violence continued to rock Nagaland as 16 houses were reportedly vandalized in Longkhum village under Mokokchung district.
According to reports, the incident took place on March 9 evening when supporters of a candidate vandalized 16 houses belonging to supporters of a rival candidate, during which one person was also reportedly injured.
Sources said that soon after the incident, IRB personnel were rushed to the area and the situation was under control.
