Power department expresses dismay

Power department has expressed shock and dismay that despite the officers, staff and field workers of the department working round the clock, some public vigilante groups   obstructed some field staff on line restoration works. In a press note, Power department engineer-in-chief, Er. Shikato Sema informed that during these trying times, the officers and staff were responding to the call of duty to the best of their abilities in over hundred electricity sub-stations and control rooms  spread across the state.  Even though many of the staff would be happy to stay safe at home, as most citizens are, Er. Shikato asked whether it was going to be a solution? The department has therefore requested all, including the government to support the power sector too, in its efforts to maintain stable power supply.
