Electrical division, Kohima has informed consumers under Kohima electrical division that disconnection of electricity supply on account of non-payment, meter tampering, hooking and other means of power theft was underway and would continue till financial year ending.
In a press release, Executive Engineer (EE) Er. Rükongutuo Suohu has asked consumers to clear dues to avoid inconveniences and that one could also visit www.dopn.gov.in for non-receipt of bills.
In case of discrepancies with bills, the EE has asked consumers to approach respective sub-divisional offices on all working days.
EE asked consumers to be cautious against making any payments to employees of the department without valid receipts and added that for payments without valid receipts, the onus shall lie on payer.
