Power department transmission division, Kohima has informed that power supply to Kiphire and Phek districts were affected including power generation of Likimro HEP due to line fault in 66 kV Tuensang-Kiphire transmission line since November 4.
EE (Kohima div) said power supply to two districts including LHEP was being fed temporarily through 66 kV Tuensang-Kiphire trans line as the main 132 kV Kohima-Meluri-Kiphire trans line was damaged by landslide due to 2-lane road works by NHIDCL near Losami village, during September, which was yet to be restored. EE said the department was making all efforts to restore the 66 kV Tuensang-Kiphire trans line at the earliest.
