Continuing with its effort to keep check on power defaulters, Power department has once again listed out the list of top defaulters of Urban Electricity Management Board (UEMB) and Village Electricity Management Board (VEMB) under Mokokchung and Dimapur electrical division with total outstanding amount of Rs. 2.22 crores (UEMB) and Rs. 2.15 crores (VEMBs)
According to a DIPR report, top five defaulting SPM village (UEMB) were Sangtemla (Mkg division), Kapayong (Mkg), ThilixuAgasa (Niusa) Dimapur, Toulazuma (Dmu) and Thilixu Block ‘V’ (Dmu).
The top five defaulting SPM village (VEMB) were Pangti (Mkg division), Mon village (Mon), Tobu village and Longching village.
