State power department has appealed to all consumers especially in Dimapur to reduce the use of air condition and judiciously use other power consuming gadgets since the department was having a difficult time to handle the increasing power usage. In a press note, chief engineer (D&R) stated that in case the present increase of power consumption continued, the department would be compelled to resort to regular shutdown and also start vigorously disconnecting consumers who were not paying their bills.
