Department of power has notified that “Conversion of 33 kV Kohima Ring Main feeder to GI Lattice Towers between Lerie to Kiyake”, which passes through Lerie, Kohima village, BSF Camp Chedema and Kiyake, would be test charged at the rated voltage on December 11, 2019 at 7am and would remain charged thereafter.
In a notification, transmission division Kohima, executive engineer T Lithrichum Sangtam has, therefore, cautioned the public not to touch the said line or go near the line.
It stated that anybody violating the order would be doing so at their own risk and the department would not be held responsible for an untoward incident.
