Power deptt informs Kohima consumers

Informing that door to door delivery of electricity bills has become difficult due to COVID-19 lockdown, the department of power has informed all the consumers under Kohima electrical division has, therefore, requested the consumers under the computerised billing system to log in to the department’s website www.dopn.gov.in to view and also pay their bills online using their Consumer ID. 

In a press release, executive engineer electrical division Kohima, Rükongutuo Suohu, informed that there was also a provision in the web portal for consumers to submit their meter reading where one needs to register in the website and exercise the option for Trusted Meter Reading based on which bills would be generated. 

Admitting that there could be cases of inaccurate bills despite of its best efforts, the department said the consumers could visit respective sub-division office for clarifications/corrections on all working days.
