Power deptt issues advisory

Department of Power has advised all consumers to use only low power consuming bulbs/lightings (LED) for decorative lighting purposes.

In a press statement, chief engineer (D&R) Indianoba Tally stated that the usage of low power consuming bulbs/lightings would not only curb electricity bills but also put lesser strain on the electrical network, which was already burdened to a large extent.

The chief engineer (D&R) said that the department endeavours to provide the best service of providing electricity to the consumers despite various constraints. 

The department has, therefore, appealed to all consumers to pay the electricity bills regularly and clear all dues during this festive period.
