Power disconnection drive in Dimapur from June 10

DIMAPUR, JUN 8 (NPN): Power department has informed consumers under the electrical division Dimapur that a disconnection drive would begin starting June 10, against defaulters and those involved in illegal activities.
In a press release, executive engineer Lhuvoyi said the drive would target non-payment of electricity bills as well as meter tampering, hooking, unauthorized load alteration and other illegal practices across all categories of consumers. The drive would continue on a regular basis until further orders. Consumers with pending bills have been advised to make payments immediately to avoid disconnection and inconvenience.
Further, those facing discrepancies or grievances regarding their bills have been asked to approach the office of the respective sub-divisional officer (elect.)-I, II or III at the earliest for clarification. For online payments, consumers can log in at www.dopn.gov.in using their Consumer ID to view and pay their bills.
