Power outage in 3 districts today

power repayment has informed that there would be total shutdown of power supply to Phek, Meluri and Kiphire districts on April 4, 2026 from 7am to 9am and from 1pm to 3pm.
In a press release, transmission division Kohima executive engineer Namheu Khate Zeliang state that shutdown was being necessitated to facilitate testing of station equipment at the new 132/33kV Pfutsero Sub-Station, Phek.
The department has, therefore, requested all consumers and public in the affected areas to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience during the shutdown period.
