Power shutdown during mock exercise on Apr 30

In view of the mock exercise “Operation Night Guard” as part of the annual Nagaland Emergency Preparedness Exercise (NEPEx), the power department has informed there would be temporary power shutdown for 15 minutes on April 30, 2026 from 6:30-6:45pm across 10 districts of the state namely Dimapur, Kohima, Mokokchung, Wokha, Zunheboto, Mon, Phek, Tuensang, Peren and Kiphire.
To ensure success of the exercise, the department has appealed to the general public to cooperate by switching off all lights, electrical appliances, inverters and any other sources of illumination during the said time period.
