Power department on Tuesday informed that vegetation clearance for 132kV and 66kV Transmission Lines under transmission division Mokokchung has been scheduled from October 23 to November 18, 2023.
In a press release, executive engineer Transmission division Mokokchung Er. Hekaito Assumi informed that there would be total shutdown of power from 8am to 4pm daily in order to facilitate smooth execution of the works.
As per the schedule, Zunheboto district under 66kV Mokokchung- Zunheboto Transmission Line would be affected from October 23-28, 132kV Mokokchung- Doyang Transmission Line would be affected from October 30 to November 3, Changtongya Sub-Div, Tuli Sub-Div, Longleng district and Mon district would be affected from November 6-11 and 132kV Mokokchung-Mariani Transmission Line would be affected from November 13-18.
