Power shutdown in four dists on Jul 13

DIMAPUR, JUL 11 (NPN): Power department has informed consumers in Dimapur, Chümoukedima, Peren and Niuland districts that power supply would remain suspended for three hours on July 13, 2026 to facilitate vital rectification works at the 132kV Nagarjan sub-station.
In a press note, transmission division Dimapur executive engineer SI Asangba Tikhir said the department would undertake a shutdown of the 132kV Dimapur PG–Dimapur (NL) Ckt-I and Ckt-II transmission lines from 5.30 a.m. to 8.30 a.m. to carry out vital rectification works on the 132kV isolators at Nagarjan sub-station.
The department informed that the maintenance work would result in a complete power shutdown across Dimapur, Chümoukedima, Peren and Niuland districts during the scheduled period.The department has sought cooperation from all.
