Power shutdown in Medziphema

Power department has informed that there would be shutdown of 33kV AP1/Medziphema transmission feeders from 6am to 9am starting August 4-6, 2025.
In a press release, transmission division Dimapur executive engineer S.I. Asangba Tikhir informed that the shutdown was being necessitated to facilitate clearing of vegetation.
Therefore, the department has informed that consumers under Medziphema and power supply catering from AP 1 feeder would be affected.
Acknowledging inconvenience caused to the consumers, the department has sought cooperation from all responsible.
