Power department Monday informed that there would be power shutdown in and around Dimapur from 3 a.m. to 8 a.m. starting December 20-22, 2022.
In a press release, SDO No-1 Electrical Sub-Division, Dimapur, Er. Orenvungo S. Ovung stated that the shutdown was being necessitated in view of dismantling and shifting of old existing HT and LT lines to newly erected Trunk Line in Dimapur town area.
As per the proposed shutdown schedule, the department informed that areas under 11 KV1 Feeder Metha town including G.S Road, Marawari Patti, Hongkong Market, Hazi Park, New Market, DMC, Old BOC, Thakurbari would be affected on December 20 and 21 while areas under 11 KV1 Feeder Landmark &
Notun Bosti including PWD, Midland, Residency, Supply, Duncan, Landmark, Notun Basti, Naga Cemetery, Island and LRC would be affected on December 22, 2022.
