Power shutdown in three districts

DIMAPUR, MAR 2 (NPN):

Power department has informed that there will be a total shutdown at 66/33kV Tuensang Substation on Marcah 10 and 11, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
According to Transmission Division Mokokchung executive engineer Hekaito Assumi, Tuensang, Noklak, Shamator districts and Longkhim/Chare areas will be affected.
The shutdown is required for stringing of 132kV lines to facilitate charging of the new GIS Tuensang Substation at rated voltage. The 132kV Mokokchung-Tuensang line is scheduled for test charging on March 12. The department has sought public cooperation during the period.
