Power sub-station commissioned at Niuland

Power department commissioned 33/11KV, 5MVA, sub-station at Niuland on August 27. 

Niuland town and adjoining villages would cater load front 5MVA through 33KV line emanating from Nito farm. The project taken up under DDUGJY was formally inaugurated by advisor power H Tovihoto Ayemi. Earlier, Niuland was connected with 11KV line and the frequency of outages was very high. 

However, with 33KV connectivity, the outages were expected to reduce and relieve the department. 

GBs from Niuland town and adjoining villages attend the inaugural programme and thanked the department for the yeoman service rendered.

The commissioning programme was attended by KD Vizo, principal secretary (power), additional secretary, Muhammad Ali, Er. Nribemo Mozhui, E-in-C, Er. Moa Aier, Chief Engineer (D&R), Penri Yanthan, Chief Engineer (T&G). The function was presided by Er. Tiameren Walling Addl. CE (D&R).
