Power supply affected in parts of Kohima

Due to damage of 11/0.4 kV, 500 KVA transformer at Daklane, Kohima on September 26, 2025 at 1am, Power department has informed that power supply to Daklane, parts of Naga Bazaar and parts of New Market has been affected.
In a press release, electrical division Kohima executive engineer Shiludi Longkumer said the department was making all possible arrangements to take stock of the situation. It also requested the affected consumers to bear with the inconvenience as all efforts were being made for timely replacement of the damaged transformer at the earliest.
