PPVC, PPBA hold consultative meeting

Padum Pukhuri Village Council (PPVC) in consultative-cum-coordination meeting with Padum Pukhuri Business Association (PPBA) and proprietors of different business establishment under its jurisdiction on July 30 has resolved to implement “one government one tax”.

In a press release, PPVC secretary, Yanpothang Yanthan and in-charge of trade and commerce, Shihai Sema said the coordination meeting after thorough deliberation adopted three points in line with the council’s earlier resolution.

The meeting resolved to resolutely maintain the decision of “one government one tax” and that no individual or group would be allowed to interfere in the village independently. 

The meeting also resolved not to entertain other trade license/permit except administration and village authority and that the business establishment under village jurisdiction will not participate or affiliate officially to any outside union/association nor any outside union/association would be allowed to drive membership within the village jurisdiction.
