‘Prakriti, Paryavaran Aur Hum’ initiative 2018

Ministry of environment, forests and climate change took up the initiative of Swachh Bharat, Harit Bharat forward in a campaign titled “prakriti, paryavaran aur hum – green march”. As a part of the campaign, director (CP division), ministry of environment forests & climate change, Government of India, R.N. Jindal visited Nagaland from January 28 – 31.
During his visit to John Government Higher Secondary School Viswema and Highland Hall School, Naga United village Dimapur, the director spoke about components and importance of the campaign and encouraged students to take part in initiatives to improve the environment and to be ambassadors of the campaign.
Earlier, cleanliness drive was also conducted on January 29 at Children’s Park, Kisama Heritage village wherein officials from forest department (Kohima division) including divisional forest officer, Rongsenlemla Imchen, officials from Nagaland Pollution Control Board and student leaders and students from Kigwema village participated.
