Christian Forum Dimapur (CFD) has requested all Christian churches, ministries and institutions to observe September 7 as a day of prayer for the Christians of Orissa. The Forum in a press release issued by its secretary Fr. Chacko Karinthayil also requested Christians to gather at City Tower on September 7 at 12 noon for a prayer fellowship. The Forum asked all pastors, ministers and principals to inform their congregations on August 31 about the programme and encourage and motivate the members to attend the rally in large numbers.
