DIMAPUR

A prayer room was inaugurated at Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital (IMDH), Mokokchung on July 26 during a dedicatory programme.
Donated by Mr & Mrs Wabang Kichu, Councillor of Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC), the room aims to provide a quiet space for patients, families, and caregivers seeking spiritual comfort. The initiative marks the silver jubilee of “Christmas with Patients,” started by Wabang Kichu to share warmth and festive cheer with hospital patients.
Speaking at the event, Dr Ademla Tinu appreciated the gesture, saying the space would bring peace and hope to many during challenging times. The prayer room was inaugurated by Temsüchuba, SDO (Civil), Mokokchung. Rev Chuba, Pastor of MTBA, led a dedicatory prayer. The programme was chaired by MMC Councillor Wabangnaro Pongen and attended by hospital staff, well-wishers, and the IMDH chaplain.
