Primary Health Centre inaugurated at Dan ITC

Mission director (NHM) Nagaland, Dr. Talitemsula inaugurated the Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Dan, ITC under Noklak district on October 26.

According to a DIPR report, Dr. Talitemsula said that the PHC, Dan ITC would serve and benefit the bordering villages of India and Myanmar.

She said that for proper development and improvement of the PHC, people’s participation was important and urged the gathering to use the PHC judiciously.

Dr. Talitemsula sought the cooperation from the community towards the health care workers and the department.

She said that the support and participation of the community for proper development would make the PHC a great impetus to the people and department.

Additional director, H&FW, Dr. Temjentsungla advised the health management committee to include more women in the committee.

Speaking at the programme, extra assistant commissioner, Noklak, Pukha Lam advised the gathering to take ownership of the PHC and expressed his appreciation to the medical department for the successful completion of the PHC.

The programme was chaired by Pangsha Public organization (PPO) executive member, Shingnya, head GB of Dan village, Nyukha delivered a speech, pastor Taimang said the dedicatory prayer and welcome address was delivered by PPO vice president Haiming while Dr. Victor NC, SMO CHC Noklak proposed the vote of thanks.

Later, mission director along with the team also visited the district hospital and interacted with the district administration, NGOs and medical staff. 

Dr. Talitemsula also visited the proposed hospital construction site.
