Aggrieved Foothills Road Forum (AFRF) under Bhandari and Changpang areas, Wokha has appealed to the government to prioritise timely construction of foothills road project phase-II.
In a press release, AFHRF convenor Chumjamo Kikon and general secretary Enoch Kithan said they were left out due to resource allocation in phase-I. AFHRF demanded that two-lane phase-II via Bhandari-Changpang areas of Baghty division of Wokha linking Mangkolemba division in Mokokchung be initiated upon scheduled completion of ongoing phase-I in December 2025. The forum has urged the department of road & bridges to take the issue seriously.
