An awareness program on Child Related Issues and Personality Development Skills (PDS) was organised by Assisi Centre for Integrated Development (ACID) with the support of National Domestic Workers’ Movement (NDWM) Child Right Movement on November 10 at Assisi campus.
A press release by ACID stated that in the program, coordinator for child right movement, Sr. Jobina Varghese, highlighted the purpose of the program and welcomed the participants.
Resource persons, Lozza, Alomi and Sr. Lolita, motivated the children to speak for their rights, fight for their rights and also to support one another for the protection and empowerment of one another. Around 150 children attended the program which included games and prize distribution. It concluded with a thanksgiving prayer by ACID director, Sr. Pramila.
