Programme on national mega clean India 2.0 held in Kma

Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) and National Service Scheme (NSS) Nagaland jointly organised a cleanliness drive with Japfü Christian College, Kigwema and St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama as part of the national “Mega Clean India 2.0” on October 19.
The plogging walk was flagged off at JCC Kigwema premises by JCC principal Dr. Visakhonu Hibo, and culminated at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama.
While flagging off the drive, Dr. Hibo said plogging (jog & pick) was the need of the hour as there was an urgent need to jog for health as well as pick up trash in the process.
Earlier on October 1, the state level programme was launched by advisor, Youth Resources & Sports, Er. Zale Neikha, at Kezoma village simultaneously with the national level launching programme by union minister for Youth Affairs & Sports, Anurag Thakur.
