Progressive Motors True Value outlet opens in Chümoukedima

DIMAPUR, SEP 25 (NPN): Progressive Motors’ Maruti Suzuki True Value outlet was inaugurated at 124, Chümoukedima on Friday, providing customers with facilities to buy, sell and exchange pre-owned vehicles.
The inaugural programme was attended by SDO (C)-cum-Revenue Officer, Chümoukedima, Thejavizo Nakhro, as the chief guest, while Regional Manager, True Value, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., Prasanth Uppala San, was the guest of honour. Also, present were Ameto, CEO, Maruti Suzuki True Value, Chümoukedima, Rotsino, Debu Roy, manager True Value, Progressive Motors, ward authorities and other invitees. Speaking at the programme, Nakhro welcomed the new business establishment to Chümoukedima and said it was encouraging to see businesses investing in the district. He noted that Chümoukedima, established as a district in 2022, was emerging as a destination for businesses and investments.
He also appreciated the ward authorities for their support and cooperation and wished the True Value team success in providing reliable services to customers.
Prasanth Uppala San said the outlet was the 32nd Maruti Suzuki True Value outlet in the Northeast and the second in Nagaland, following the opening of the first outlet in Kohima a few months ago.
He said the objective of the True Value business was to provide customers with a trusted and organised platform to sell or exchange their pre-owned vehicles through an authorised Maruti Suzuki dealer. He said the business had evolved over the years to offer customers a more convenient and reliable experience in the pre-owned vehicle market.
According to True Value Manager, Progressive Motors, Debu Roy, the outlet accepts vehicles of different brands for exchange or direct purchase, subject to evaluation. Customers can either sell their vehicles directly to the outlet or exchange them for a new or pre-owned vehicle available in its inventory.
He said vehicle prices would depend on factors including the model, age and overall condition. The outlet would also provide financing options, with vehicles from model year 2020 onwards eligible for refinancing, subject to applicable conditions.
Roy said the outlet had been established to cater to the growing demand for pre-owned vehicles and help retain existing customers by providing exchange facilities. The programme included ribbon-cutting, felicitation of guests, speeches, a special number and a short address by chairman, Ward No. 1 Chümoukedima, Ghoishe Yeptho. Rev. Jack Pucho offered the blessings, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony and a vote of thanks by Welto.
