Promote clean election: Vikheho

Y. Vikheho Swu MLA has called upon the students to promote clean election while speaking at the concluding day of the four-day All Sumi Students Union (SKK) 50th general conference on Sunday. A press release by SKK, stated that Vikheho reminded the students gathered that they all will be going to be the leaders in their own area and therefore should not be lured away by money.
He further called upon the students to retrospect and be the game change for a better society.
Noting that Sumi community were all scattered in many parts of the State, he urged the community to be a peace makers and appealed them to maintain a cordial relationship with other tribes in order to bring peace.
Also speaking on the occasion as devotional speaker, Rev. Dr. Hokheto Chophi told the students to seek God first reminding them that God knows what was best for the people and will disposed their needs to them at the right time.
All Sumi Students Union (SKK) which began on January 27 concluded on January 30 with Rev. Dr. Hokheto Chophi as the devotional speaker and Vikheho Swu as the valedictory session.
Meanwhile, SKK has also elected a new team of office bearers for the tenure 2022-24 to be headed by Katho P. Awomi as president, Nito Zhimomi as vice president and Hekato Achumi as general secretary.
