PSAN demands rescheduling of NPSC mains

Public Service Aspirants of Nagaland (PSAN) has demanded rescheduling of the NPSC main exams 2017.
PSAN media cell said NPSC, after arbitrarily delaying the 2016 prelims results for five months, had given a short notice (1 month’s time) to conduct the mains exam. PSAN said this was in contravention to the guidelines issued by P&AR department, wherein a minimum of two month’s time is given to conduct the mains exams after the declaration of the prelims results.
This demand was put forth in the representation submitted to NPSC chairman, Yanang Konyak on Tuesday by PSAN members. In this regard, PSAN has demanded NPSC to reschedule the mains exams and provide at least two months for preparations. It also demanded NPSC to bring out “a yearly tentative date for prelims, mains and oral interview/personality test” at the time of prelims advertisement.
PSAN further asked NPSC to complete the entire exam process within 365 days. NPSC chairman assured to look into the demands in the next board meeting, PSAN stated.
