Population stabilization fortnight activity which was launched on July 11 successfully carried out till July 24 across Peren district.
The activities were carried out at District Hospital Peren, CHC Jalukie, Athibung PHC, Tening PHC, Azailong PHC, Ntuma PHC, Mbaulwa PHC, Dungki PHC, Heningkunglwa PHC, Poilwa PHC, Bongkolong sub-centre, Mhainamtsi sub-centre, Samzuiram sub-centre and Gaili sub-centre.
A press note by CMO office Peren, stated that counselling was carried out by the medical officers and nurses in their respective health units and ASHAs conducted inter personnel communication in all the villages for intensive awareness at the grass root level.
Monitoring and supervision was also carried out by CMO Peren, Dr. Denis Hangsing and district program officer DPO UIP/RCH, Dr. Khrielasanuo to the health units.
