Pochury Students’ Union (PSU) has organized its 55th general session on January 23 at Meluri town hall on the theme ‘Embracing true education’ with Dr. Jutsiitho Phoji, Associate Professor SIRD, Kohima, as the resource person.
Addressing the session, resource person stressed on quality education as the need of the hour. He also urged the students to discover one’s own talent and utilized wisely for positive development. Pointing out that State government has already reached a saturation point to employ every educated youth, he has urged the students to be well equipped and have a sound competitive spirit saying, “We are at the stage of survival of the fittest.”
Meanwhile, PSU has elected new executive council for the tenure 2015-2017 headed by Er. Joyson Pfithu as president, T Chivi Nyusou as general secretary and Miiphatho Nyuthe as secretary finance.
