Pfutsero Town Business Association (PTBA) expressed heartfelt appreciation to Phek District Police for donation of CCTV cameras aimed at strengthening security and public safety in Pfutsero Town.
A press release by PTBA stated that the association conveyed special thanks to Superintendent of Police, Phek District, Dr. Pritpal Kaur, for her sanction and approval of the CCTV camera donation, and to UBI, Officer-in-Charge, Pfutsero Police Station, Vethinu Khamo, for his efficient coordination and streamlining of the process.
The cameras have been installed at two strategic locations, PWD Junction and Army Camp Junction, both critical for monitoring movement and maintaining security. These installations would not only serve the safety and security needs of Pfutsero Town but would also benefit neighbouring villages and towns, as Pfutsero was recognised as the commercial and logistical epicentre of Phek District, the release stated.
The press release added that president, PTBA, Vekusu Chuzho, stated that the CCTV cameras would play important role in law and order maintenance, crime prevention, public safety, traffic management, and other security-related matters, while general secretary, PTBA, Truvi Rhi, said that such collaborations were essential in building a town where commerce thrives alongside the well-being of its people. PTBA expressed optimism to strengthening the partnership for benefit of Pfutsero and the entire Chakhesang community.
