Youths from Phek Town Chakhesang Students’ Union (PTCSU) and Southern Angami Youth Organisation (SAYO) carried out sanitation drive to maintain cleanliness around its respective jurisdictions.
PTCSU: Phek Town Chakhesang Students’ Union (PTCSU) successfully conducted its 10th phase of sanitation drive at Phek town on Saturday. A release from PTCSU stated that the 10th phase sanitation drive involved the students of Christian Mission Higher Secondary School Phek. PTCSU president Vechihu Khamo highlighted the importance of sanitation and encouraged the students to cultivate good habit of maintaining and keeping Phek town clean and beautiful. The drive took place from Town Clock Tower till Petrol Pump adjacent to local ground. Around 107 students and 5 teachers joined this cleanliness drive.
SAYO: To protect and preserve the Dzükou valley, Southern Angami Youth Organisation (SAYO) undertook a three-day social work and cleaned the area from May 21 to 23. (SAYO)
