PTYS warns DoSE of intensifying protest

On the second day of the indefinite closure of Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Phek, Phek Town Youth Society PTYS warned the department of school education (DoSE) that the protest will further intensify and resort to other means if the responsible department did not respond.
In a press release, PTYS president, Neizote Venuh while questioning the department’s lack of concern and sympathy for the school stated that the public was yet to receive a response. It may be mentioned that PTYS on August 4 informed that it had closed down GHSS Phek “indefinitely” following the expiry of ultimatum served on DoSE on July 27.
