Pulwama attack: Candle light vigil held in Nagaland

A candlelight vigil in remembrance of the 45 CRPF troopers killed in Pulwama suicide attack on Friday was held across India including Nagaland Friday evening. On Friday an injured person in another bus also succumbed taking the death toll to 45.

In Kohima and Dimapur, the public joined hands to condemn the dastardly attack on soldiers.

A brief candle light vigil was held near Old NLA hostel, Kohima where people condemned the incident. One of the banners read as: “We respect & salute the supreme sacrifice of our brave CRPF jawans who sacrificed their life for our country…”

In Dimapur, a candle light programme was also held at Lions Club to pay tribute and homage to the departed soldiers. The members condemned the cowardly terrorist attack on the brave jawans. “Let us stand with them and pledge our solidarity with the family of those martyred,” those present appealed to all.
